05-07 Headlight Question

I've converted my front bumper and grille from an 03 to an 05-07, but I just need the new headlights now. Everybody on eBay is super expensive with the headlights that actually come off a truck, so how decent would the quality be in getting one of the non-Ford but "OEM quality" headlights? The main ones I'm looking at how are sold by some Auto Parts Wholesale person. Look them up if you don't mind and let me know what you think. They look exactly like stock, but I just don't know if they might be super super cheap quality.

Well I had have my "knock offs" from ebay for close to 6 months without any issues. They arent all milky and still look great! Now I took my time to make sure I got some really nice lookin ones as there are some cheapo's on there.
Plus I figured for the price of new ones, I could buy a set of these each year for 3 years and still be cheaper hehe. Its all personal preference.

Well most peoples problems aren't with any malfunctions, the main problems with the cheap ones is they sometimes they scatter light in all the wrong places. Have you notices any of this? Again, I don't see how they could be that much different seeing as they obviously put a lot of time into making the outside look exactly the same.

Here's a link to the ones I'm looking at on eBay. Let me know if they look cheaper or the same as yours:

Well mine seem to have a perfect lighting and much better than the 04 factory ones I had. Those you posted seem to look very good and similar to mine. Here is a close up of mine with the strobe bulb installed in the blinker area.

How well do your strobes work? I put a set on my first Tacoma and they worked great but on my second Tacoma you couldn't even tell they were on at night.

Funny as I had a 2006 tacoma loaded with strobes in it too. Since I put them in the blinker part of the light, I feel they show up much better. I have also added some TIR6 in the grill too, for adding viewing.

Here is my post with vids...

Yeah I guess my mistake was putting them in with the headlights on my 06. On my 04 I did put them in with the blinkers and they worked great.

I really miss that 06 though. I wouldn't give up the 250 for it, but it really was sweet. It was a TRD Off Road with the rear locking diff, and I modded it so that the rear diff would lock whenever I wanted rather than just in 4LO. And I also put the TRD Ed. FJ wheels on it and some 265/75R16 BFG All Terrains on it. Had a Pioneer Nav/DVD system inside and some Wet Okole neoprene seat covers in the front seats that matched the interior perfectly. I wish I could have it back without having to get rid of my 250 . Heres a pic of the outside:

Yeah I too had the TRD Offroad with the Sport hood too. I just needed something larger with more towing power. Funny thing is my diesel gets better mileage than the tacoma haha.
Here is pics and a vid of the wigwag on it.

Can you send me a link to the kit that you put on your 250? I think I wanna do that exact same thing. It uses the factory lights right?
