A quickie for anyone that may be cruising through Northeast Philly and want to stop for a bite.
Friends of mine have been telling me about this place Millers Philly Ale House on Rte 1 (9495 Roosevelt Boulevard to us natives). We tried it last night and I was pleasantly surprised, a 1-1/4 pound, fresh, cold water lobster and a 20oz. porterhouse, 27.00. Caesar Salad. French Onion soup, 2 beers, 1 mixed drink, 1 O'Douls, 1 glass of milk and two deserts, 64.00, tip 13.00 and we're out of there for 77.00. The lobster was cooked correctly and the porterhouse was excellent. Every night is a different special. Thursday night is prime rib for 10.99. With out the alcohol and desert, your out of there for 30-40 bucks.
