It's in the upper 30's here - furnace has been running off and on all night.

Job is going well, things seem to be falling into place pretty well at this point.

That is good to hear.

I see that you are going to be doing some flooring in the kitchen. What are you putting down?

Probably going to do a hardwood laminate. Right now it's tile right on a concrete slab on grade, so just trying to do something to create a bit of a thermal break and keep the room a bit warmer.

That should work for what you are intending to accomplish

Evening Kathy. Cold night for HS football, that's for sure. I bet the moose helps.

Neil - I think so too. The underlayment I'm getting is like a pad also along with the vapor barrier, so I hope that helps a little too.

Bill I have the same stuff that I am planning on putting down in my basement as I finish off part of it. This will be going directly on the slab with the underlayment underneath. I just realized, I have had the materials down there for a few years and it is still all in the original boxes.....lol.

lol - I haven't gone on a materials run yet. I was going to after work but I got caught up in a couple other things I needed to address first.
