EGT no dropping.??
After being on this site and learning a little more about egts. When i get ready to turn the truck off, i always wait till the egts are down to least 400. It just seems like in the last couple of days it takes longer for it to get there. Its cooler here now, even raining, and its not dropping as fast as some hot days. (maybe the outside temp has nothing to do with that). Anyway,, the EOT and ECT are both still low. I dont see any change at all,,,, no codes. Is this my imagination?? Is this even important?? Just so you know,, it still does drop,, just doesnt seem quite as fast. No ac on, heater, or anything... thanks.. Herb
