Counterfeit Timken Hub Assemblies - Chevy TrailBlazer, TrailBlazer SS and GMC Envoy Forum
1. Timken Bearings are not sold over the internet
2. Timken Bearings will be in a black and orange Timken Box with a watermark attached
3. Timken Hubs have specific lettering and numbering on the studs (The Chinese knockoffs do not)
4. Timken Bearings will have printing on the harness sleeving (The Chinese ones do not)
5. Timken electrical Connectors will have different color inserts than the Zjonggu sweatshop crap.
Bottom line is whaen safety and reliability is concerned tracability is important. I will not ever again purchase this type of part from other than a distributor.

First of all the seller indicated that the hubs would be drop shipped directly from Timken, but these came from the parts seller in Florida. Second the packing paper that was in the shipping box is identical to the packing material in the Individual Hub boxes. No markings on the boxes, no markings on the bearing other than Timkens part number.
I find it Very odd that Timken would not mark their bearings with their trademark.
Lastly I went to the chinese sweatshop bearing makers/importers web site and there is a dead ringer for my unmarked bearing being sold by the scheuwan jigijn ooboye Bearing company. I am starting to get really cranked up. If Amazon is letting counterfeiters sell on theiir site I will go ape shi7. I cant wait till 8:00 Am to contact Timken customer service to verify if these are fake or not
Any info someone on the forum can provide on the markings from the Timkens might save me a lot of aggrevation before I go off on this seller.
