I ordered my 2011 F-350 DRW Lariat a couple of weeks ago. I ordered it withut the camper package. Has anyone loaded and towed a 5th wheel without the camper package and did you get any sag in the rear? My 05 F-350 DRW sagged in the rear when I loaded my Keystone Alpine 5th wheel and I had to add the Firestone airbags. I am wondering if I am going to need to have the airbags installed in the 2011.

I have a F-350 srw crew cab and tow my fifth wheel with no sag problem. 2500 lbs. tongue weight in bed.
The good news is the camper package would have done nothing for your rear spring rate. It maxes out the front spring rate and adds the rear sway bar. The camper package is actually meant for people that will use a slide in camper on the truck.
I don't know about the DRW, but the SRW trucks sure do sag worse than their predecessors. I plan on installing Timbren overloads on mine. Less hassle than airbags, more reliable and they do not affect unloaded ride quality. As a friend of mine said, the only time you know they are there is when you hit a speed bump at 80 mph and they launch the rear of the truck into the air! Don't ask my why anybody would do that, but if he said it, I guarantee you he's done it!
I think the camper package adds a third leaf to the rears in addition to what you listed. At least that's what I've read in a few places. I didn't want it purely because of the decreased unloaded ride quality. I plan on adding airbags (which can be deflated when unloaded... thus not affecting ride quality) at some point soon.

I have the camper pkg on my 2011 F250. It does add a 3rd leaf to the rear, but it is an 'overload' leaf that does not affect the ride at all when unloaded. It only comes into play when the rear of the truck comes under a load. Having said that, I will still be adding air bags to my truck as the truck sags when I hook up my 29' Toy Hauler. This is alleviated a bit by the WDH but still feel that they air bags would be a great benefit while towing.
I have truck and camper in sig.Do not have camper package was told it only added sway bar.Camper has 3000# pin it sets truck down till hitting helper spring about 21/2" at center of rear bumper.Does not seam to be a problem but haven't decided if I will add bags.Camper is new for me so I will see how it does over winter trip then decide.I see Firestone is listing a no drill set @ $300
I pull a #15000 5th wheel and I can tell you it only drops 1 1/2 to 1 3/4ins. just before the helper springs start to touch. Have no problem with the truck or trailer being leavel. I do have the op, 11500# gvwvr package in it. My last tow veh. was a f250 6.0 and I had firestone air bags in it to keep it level.
