Anyone know if it is possible to put a gear drive in a 1989 351w ?
I'm going with a carb. not fuel injection.
I have looked but I can't find any ( preferably noisy ) gear drives for anything later than a 95 model.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

I guess the fuel pump eccentric is the problem with putting it in the older engine. If thats the case you could use an electric pump and it SHOULD work.
JEGS 20341 - JEGS Performance Gear Drives this what i am saving for on my 78 351w rebuild. says it covers your year. 289,302, and 351w motors use the same timing sets.
why the gear drive? frankly they get annoying and place a lot of vibration thru the cam and upper valve train. also they dont time any better then a true double roller timing setup.
