I am putting this warning out there for anyone that visits the Encylopedia Titanica forums. Ive been a member or I should say was a member there since 2005 and some guy came in today insulting me on a topic apparently he was butt hurt because he told me something years ago and I didnt credit him with it and didnt even know it was the same guy.

Well I demanded an appoligy for the insults and I go hit refresh to check out whats posted my post demanding an appology was deleted and my account is now locked. I sent a message to the email provided demanding what happened because surely I didnt break any forum rules demanding the guy to appologize for verbally attacking and insulting me over something as stupid as what he told me on youtube 5+ years ago.

In the email I mentioned that I would like to have my account unlocked but if not possible I made it clear I would spam this out in the world wide web how I got my account locked all because I demanded an appology for insulting me telling me I dont know what im talking about and that I am a liar and all that.

As far as I can tell the other guy got off the hook because he was kind in saying sorry to the moderator for the bringing personal feelings into the forums and said it was the last post reguarding the personal issue. I just think its cheap that he gets off the hook slinging insults at me for no reason and I get locked out of my account because this guy who joined in 2008 appologized to the mod but didnt to me. Yea it could be viewed that I was trying to start it up again but he insulted me without provocation which I would have never done to another member on the forums and never have I just wanted that little jerk to appologize publically for doing what he did. It was pathetic for him to insult me because I didnt remember him when I havent said but one or two things to him years ago.

It just sucks that ive put 5 years into that messageboard posting and sharing what I know and Ive learned only to have some butt hurt kid insult me out of the blue because I didnt mention him as being the guy that informed me about something I stated and claimed I am stating his theory as my own when its not a theory but is fact and proven by testimony. He appoligzed to the moderator for starting a personal argument but yet didnt appologize to me for insulting me saying I dont know anything and that im wrong and on and on. But I get my account locked demanding that he appoligize to me and telling him that its fact not opinion and further more telling him that alot has happened in the 3 years since ive talked twice with him on youtube I didnt know his name and didnt know he had a profile on the same site.

 

Well that was severely chicken of them obviously the powers that be are egotistical and would rather get off to having their ego stroked as apposed to doing whats right

 

It is. I even appealed to the forum to get my account un locked. I told them that what he did was far worse than me demanding an appology. He took and stated all profiles with the same ID I used on ET forums and on Youtube are all me. As I told the mods in the email that is a rumor he stated there which in turn can result to slander indirectly on his part if someone else with the same ID I used there and on youtube did something that was associated to me. I also told the moderators I think I am entitled to an appology because I was insulted, rumors spouted about me and slander all by this one person.

So far I am awaiting a reply from them. The first email I sent was answered but they want me to explain and it would be passed along to all the other moderators to make a decision.

I mean sure I didnt stop after the moderator said stop but I wasnt pushing an argument I was mostly pushing for an appology that I feel I deserve for what he did. I mean on this messageboard they want your first and last name to be listed well I did like they say and have my first and last name. So now because of that rumor my name could potentially be associated with anything someone else does that happens to have the same ID name as I used on ET and Youtube. We are not talking about just simple insults we are talking about things that could potentially ruin a persons life.

 

yep that is imoral and I'm with you on the insistance of a apology and recanting of accusations from ScumBoy talk about a coward!!!! if I were you and it's within your means and these pinheads don't resolve the issue and bring your reputation back within good standing I'd see if I could file a lawsuite for Defamation of Character and Mental Anguish etc. IF thats possible cause that whole scenario is B.S.

Yep it is. I shouldnt be suprised about it but I did honestly think it was different. Ive been there 5 years and up till now I didnt see anyone sling insults at someone before. But I guess theres always a first just like here up till recently I never had someone call me a theif on here like that one guy did.

No it wont, but it allowed me to vent on the subject. Not like I could really contact the mods directly responsible. With me being locked out I cant even send a PM to the moderators so I had to send it to their email address which the first time I got one guy second time for a reply to that guy that wouldnt go through I ended up with some other guy that didnt know the case. The bad thing is though my account got locked and I didnt even get a email about it. It just happened. Like wise I didnt get a response from the moderators till I took it upon myself to send a email to them. Which they replied almost 1 hour later back. If they want me to explain myself as the first email to me said then why didnt they send me an email to tell me to explain myself why did I have to email them asking why my account was locked wanting an appology for what that guy did to me on a public forum viewable by all. I mean sure not dropping it is a good reason to lock the account but I feel I am entitled to an appology since he posted alot of personal information on there as well as starting a rumor along with the whole insult thing.

It is, but I think they would consider me bringing up a lawsuit as being a threat. after all Philip who was the second to replied to me not to threaten him when I mentioned that I would feel compelled to post a word for word account of me having my account locked for demanding an appology for the way I was treated on those forums onto my youtube page in the form of a video as well as on my website. I honestly find it funny because I didnt say it as a threat. I said it as fact, they got to do what they got to do if that is keeping my account locked well dont expect me to just lay down and let some kid get the last word insulting me spreading rumors about me and possibly slandering my name all on a public forum. Not to mention he posted private information by posting link to my youtube page which had way more information on it than profile on ET. Not to mention ET requires you to use your first and last name so I did youtube is just a nick name but yet all this could potentially come to bite me and all because that kid got butthurt because I didnt remember him nor did I say that some guy on youtube told me. Sheesh to be honest I totally forgot about that and I didnt even know it was the same guy only talked to him 2 - 4 times at the most like 4 years ago. I dont know about him to remember but alot has happened in my life that something so pointless as someone I talked to a few times isnt going to be remembered.

 

No go on the reinstatement of my account so far.

Ive exchanged 6 emails with Philip Hind from the UK about why I feel the way I do and that the moderators should have nipped it when he started saying abrasive things about another member instead of stepping in after it reached a boiling point then lock a users account for defending their name.

As of now he said that he doesnt agree with me and that he feels the moderators were in the right. I said just now that that is his choice and that I am not going to waste more of my time trying to get my account unlocked when thats what ive been trying to do for the past few days. I also put in that I am seriouslly contemplating legal action because I have wasted 4 days basically going back and forth with them getting my account unlocked and all its been is "talk talk talk and more talk" told him its just like the UN nothing but talk and no action and I am at the end of caring due to all this talk and no action that Ive put my time into trying to get the account reopened.

Hopefully that will get it through his thick *** ****ing skull that the whole point of me explaining myself was to get my account unlocked and now my reply will be passed along and another moderator will get back with me on what I need to do to unlock my own account. Pft **** that I will see their sorry *** in court. Just need to check with my lawyer and see if I can get their *** in a sling with this run around bs as well as blocking me from a public forum for defending my own name.
