1) the truck is $999 DOWN and 400 a month! $7800 i think was the asking price.
2) If the guy did that on a CNC, it means that there is code to do that over and over and over again somewhere in this world.....Wonder if the guys at LMC or NPD are watching this thread?
Would love that in an oak on mine. Never understood the factories desire for burlwood...
I drove from Dallas to see the truck, it sure looked great in the ad. Once I got there I found it was a POS!!! Brought my wife and daughter for the 5 hour drive on top of it. Had the cash in my pocket. The owner wasn't this place. The interior was worn out, wood trim that they are showing isn't how the rest of it looks. There is also an overhead console, not seen here missing pieces. Thre is a tear in the seat, notice the towel covering the bottom of the seat in the picture. The paint is 10 years old and was starting to show it with lots of scratches it had also been keyed on the drivers rear above the wheelwell. The trans was slipping pretty badly and not crisp on the shifts. the engine bay showed the original paint on the firewall and overspray in other parts, the engine was a worn out 5.0, A/C didn't work, if you look closly you will notice the missing hoses from the compressor to the firewall. The truck needed front end work and the drivers side rims were missing the center caps. The wood work was done in Mexico in 2003. If this place has thier work cut out for them. If you want to know the previous owner I still have his info in my cell, he was a PITA. Mind you he knew I was driveing from North Dallas to Houston to see the truck, he gives me an address that he says is his grandmothers house. I put it in my GPS and drive down, turns out it is a WalMart parking lot!!! I call this clown up and he gives a BS excuse and shows up 30 mins later. Now I'm really pissed, but hold my temper till I start checking out the truck, it was in such bad shape I wasn't even going to drive it but the guy talks me into it. As you can tell 2 months later I still remember the truck. His price was 6500
Yeah, I would remember it too if I drove 5 hours and it turned out like that, truly a wasted day, especially with him being late! I like the door panels, but other than that, I would love to have that cab and bed on my F250 frame, if it looks as good as the pic, but unfortunately they always seem to look better in the pic's.
