I just found a 4 wheel drive Aerostar van,how is the rear axle for a F100 it has nice purcase points for air bags on it already

Wheel bolt pattern is different, much lighter weight vehicle, different measurements. I'd say not very good.

Might work well with a Ranger.

429, the ford aerostar uses the same rear end that the V6 mustangs use. They are a 7.5" rear, which I guess you could use but I wouldnt plan on plan on putting any kind of power (horsepower) to it, as it will break. I would go with the big brother of the 2 and find a 8.8 out of a 86-04 V8 mustang! these rear ends are almost just as bullet proof as a 9" If you need one I have some good cores laying around

I have some Dana 60's and a bunch of 9's so I was just wondering if the Van rearend would be any good to use cause it already has the mouting brackets for air bags (old spring mounts)
