Cruise control cable broke......
Hey everyone,
On my 1992 the other day my cruise control cable broke leaving me with no cruise. I went down to the local ford dealership and they attempted to order the cable and they found out the ford has discontinued that cable.
Are there any places that I can check to find one? maybe get one from a junk yard or make one?????
With the amount of freeway driving that this van sees everyday I have got to have my cruise or i'll go nuts and probably get a ticket before long. I mean it's just a simple metal cable like those found on a ten speed bike...how hard could it be to make a new one????? or find one in a junk yard?????
