Today while getting other parts I found the M22x1.5 plug needed on a clerance shelf for $4. So i picked it up!
My question is 1 what all do you do? Just pull the bolt out and replace it with this one? Then is it connected to something else with a wire and you just disconnect it?
Will it be bad because i live in Pennsylvania and 6 months out of the year its fairly cold out? from 40* to -5*?
Last but not least will it make your Check Engine Light or Service Engine Soon light come on?

Great find. You disconnect both the red and black wires that run from the AIH and the relay, pull the heater element and put your plug in. I left my relay still on the truck. You won't get a SES light but a "soft code" is stored in the PCM. No worries. You won't miss your heater element.
On edit: here's a writeup on how to do the AIH delete.
DO you have any info on this "Soft-code" stuff? Does that mean its like a mini version of something that would cause a Check engine light? If i get a code reader i will be able to see it and any other "soft code" that has ever popped up?
I just done my AIH delete about a month ago with no problems/codes/flashing lights..... I have an '02 f250 4x4. As far as the wiring goes I just followed both wires the their endings and removed them completly. It might take you another 5 mins. tops to do this but much cleaner outcome...................
I used the same plug but cut half of the threads off before drilling and tapping so it would sit flush in the intake. I didn't want any extra threads sticking into the intake tube. You can see in the first pic how much longer it is than the AIH (element cut off).
Nice find but when you get gauges keep this in mind, you can get Clays AIH tapped delete plug and put this copper fitting in it and use it to read your boost like I did, very accurate boost readings from here, take a look.
If you are worried about the soft code, you can get a wire with the correct resistor in it that will take care of it for you. I was having other problems and wanted to eliminate it as a possibility, so I added it. I don't have the link, but you can get it by googling "Air intake heater delete fooler".
I was at a local Hovis that had a table of crud for dirt cheap. Stumbled across her!
I got it cut down and installed. Got the Red wire off the Relay but i have one other wire that goes down in/to the motor. What do i do with it? Right now its taped off. Do i remove the bolt and take it out?
And what exactly does it do? When anything goes to the motor my instict tells me dont touch its important...

That's the ground wire. You can leave it or toss it.
