MBRP installed today,,,

Well, i finally ordered it,, got it in two days and myself and my son installed it in less than two hours. And that included cutting my converter off the stock and installing it "around" the mbrp. It couldnt have been easier. Everything fit together perfect and had plenty hangers. I cant say it was a lot louder then what i had, (stock exhaust with no cat/ no muffler) but it does sound better, deeper. I was so glad to get that patched up mess i had from under it. Anyway, i know most of you guys already has this system but for those of you that dont, dont hesitate,, its great..

Can't agree more, mine has the MBRP muffler and it's a turbo back. First thing I noticed was it's a little lower tone. Love mine and glad I did it.

I am assuming you had a significant turbo whistle since you were straight-piped.....did the new exhaust with the straight thru muffler decrease the turbo sound much?

naw, i think the turbo whistle, (hair dryer, as the wife says) is about the same as before. Its kind of different and i dont mind. It is quite louder with your foot in it and even with low rpms,, it kinda moans. I love it.
