I know, another tire thread.I havent seen one lately and figured i want to hear updates on what tire do you love or hate, what size are you running and what your rig is used for. I am debating whether or not to buy new tires before winter.i have stock bfgs on 17" rims .they have 4/32 left on them. they are scary when the roads are wet now, no cornering traction even aired down to 55 lbs.i am not sure what tire i would wanna replace with because i want longevity coupled with snow traction because i do plow.I like the cooper atrs but am not sure how they will wear or even if they fit the size. i also wanna go taller but will that affect handling or traction. Thanks BTW I hate goodyear ive had 6 sets in diff sizes that have all worn out in 30k on multiple veh. plus they werent to nice to me on the phone for warranty coverage .
i am a fan of the hankook dynapro atm rf10's. i have a set of 285/70R17 (33x11.5). little taller than the stock 265's. nice aggressive look for an all terrain and they have a great 3,750 lb. load index and are load range E. no noise on the road and lots of siping for wet traction
My tires are in my sig..while I don't think they will last very long I love them. They hum a lil on the highway but I don't care. When I go on the farm I don't get stuck any place so that what counts
Bridgstone Revo 2 Duelers...285/70/17 (E) been running them about a year through a wyoming winter, good traction no sign of wear w/10K miles on them already. Been through snow/ice/wet roads and of course the wind swept wet roads.
