Post MPG compro question (searched -no luck)

This question was spawned by a "AD" I saw ... I think a few weeks ago at this point...

The AD was from ford and I saw the website video file showing how "all three diesels" were setup with "identical (as possible) trucks, and loads" and clear lexon tube with 2 gallons of diesel and see how far they all would go...

Is there enough data in this forum (and willing participants)[thats probably the key, huh?] that would be willing to log simply their tank to tank consumption for "x" tank fulls? Kinda like that fuelly site I *JUST* signed up on ... I'm admittedly a lurker here and for the most part in Fred's TDI forum too these days... but still the thoughts come... I've been writting the ODO, trip and (when applicable) the road trip conditions on each reciept since I got the '99 F350 in 2005.

I know that everyone will have had plenty of experience of the ULSD's drop in MPG since the LSD's disappearance.... I've basically lost 2.5-3.75 MPG on average.

Here's an example of what I was wondering if folks would take part in.

year /XL-XLT-etc/ auto-manu / final ratio
approx date/ range/ approx gal. filled/ MPG

for example the matrix would look like this (maybe)?

99 / XLT SC/ auto / 3.73(IIRC)
yesterday / 587.x mi/ ~38.4 gal / 15.3
(this tank saw alot of freeway time above 2000 RPMs)
previous 3 tank fulls were 15.6 -15.78 MPG

Realistic data regarding my ride?
odometer 293xxx
edge evo1 - 1 up from stock, HPX mod, Tymar mod, rotella full sythetic w/1micron bypass filter setup (soon to send in more samples to blackstone too), upgrade tranny cooler from 6.0L and inline filter too; cat-muf-delete w/4" straight pipe.

side note, over a years calculation showed the 4" pipe mated to the stock downpipe allowed for a modest 0.9mpg increase across the board

So with my added babblings, have I overshadowed the initial question? (sheepish grin)

Is this something for your personal curiosity? Or are you a representative for a company?

If for your personal curiosity you might check over at the diesel boards. If you represent a company you need to check with Administration or you may find this pulled.

Totally personal.... I would call this totally a hobby level curiousity.

BTW given the following legitamate disclaimer (my brain is wired differently: dyslexic/ADHD and while active duty in navy I was struck by lightening) so my babblings and tangential data made you think I was a *company*? (Scratchs heads in befuddlement) "Huh? I wonder why....."

May I ask for you to elaborate(sp) when you get some free time please. Thanks in advance.
