06 brake job

Anything special about doing the brakes on an 06 explorer? Or is it just a straight forward disc job like most others?

Front, rear, and/or parking brake shoes? Nothing really special about the fronts and rears since the rear incorporates a disc brake set up for the parking brakes. However, if you are experiencing noise from the rear brakes, the problem could very well be a situation where the parking brake shoe linings have separated from the shoes. Those aren't as fun to replace. Because of the drum setup for the parking brake, no special tool is required to compress the rear calipers.

Yeah I'm just doing a front and rear pad change. No noise, just time for new ones. I've done discs before just not on this particular vehicle so wanted to make sure of what to expect. Thanks
