I would think the F350 would be either 351W or the 460 big block.
I would think the F250 would be either the 300 six, 302, 351 or 460.
Either truck could have the electronic controlled E4OD trans (has overdrive) or the C6 3 speed trans.
Remember that the the ODO goes back to zero at 100,000mls so the readings you have could be plus 100,000mls unless you know the history.

Yeah I know. I am trying to find out who drove them so I can talk to them about maintenance / history.
Also the F350 should have the sought after D60 straight axle up front while the F250 will probably have the bend in the middle D44 or D50.
Thanks for the knowledge Lazy K.
I started looking on line for gear ratio options for these two as well but came up empty handed so far. I have a 72 with the Dana 60 in the rear with 3.73 gears and a 428 w/ C6. The engine is up there in R's on the highway on 60 MPH. I want to lower ( raise? ) the gears to 3.23 or 3.07 if I can find them to help with rpm's.
Yes Sterling rear, I was talking about the front (as both 4x4).
If it helps, the door sticker trans code should be G if a C6 or E if E4OD and the C6 would have 17 bolts around the trans oil pan and the E4OD would have 20.
The milage on both is great so if you get either I would thing you would have an outstanding truck.
Good luck bidding.

Thanks Lazy K. I will check the tranny when they have the inspection day.
