Replacing Vehicle Doors
I have a 1998 Ford Explorer, which recently had a run in with the drop down door of a Semi. I am now looking for replacement doors for the Passenger side, both front and rear.
Can anyone tell me someplace in Chicago, that might have them in stock?

The business of auto wreckers has become well organized. Computers link up data bases all across the nation allowing a wrecker to search for the part you are lookong for. I would look for a reputable wrecker who is tied into this network. I find that the quality of the parts are better. Maybe someone will post a name for you or you could phone a Ford dealer that has a body shop and ask them what wrecker they use. You could get the dealer to order the parts for you and pay a few more bucks for their time. Keep in mind that wreckers usually have parts drivers delivering all around the city to various body shops. I have had them bring parts to my house too.
