Starting repairs

OK well just pulled the turbo looks real good going to clean up. The intake on the other hand did not look that good it had a lot of sutt build up and it was real gummy fealing. Not to sure what it may be from but my thoughts are that the egr cooler failed, so i will be replacing that also but i need to know excatly where the oil cooler is located at or any other advice. Oh yea please help me decide which to go with the eger delete or cooler replacement. thank in advance

Oil cooler is under the oil filter. Intake must come off to get to it.

If you keep the EGR system, install a bulletproof.com EGR cooler.

Oil cooler is what your oil filter sits on top of. Your egr cooler hose plugs right into it. (blue hose, or orange)

I think I have only heard of one other person having a plugged radiator.

I wonder if the Techs see it very often ..... ???

I had some white residue on the crimped seams around my radiator. Why do they use the plastic caps on them. I just bought a brand new radiator. It seems to run cooler. I have not towed with it so we will see.
