Electric Fuel Question.
Ok guys workin on getting the parts together. Going to get a 1-14 thread filter heads. Use one for the filter and one for a water separator filter. Question is does anyone know of a filter with a drain valve pre pump and what micron should I use. Also what size is the line running up to the motor.

I want to say the lines are 5/16", but that's just a guess and you really shouldn't listen to me.
For the pre-pump filter, you just need to catch the big stuff. 100 microns is more than enough.

I actually spent some time on the phone with a filter engineer from Baldwin before making this selection. Amazing how easy it was to call and talk to someone with that kind of knowledge. You can usually get a good deal ordering filters from Find a FleetPride Location
They have branches all across the US and sell all different brands and types of filters.

The fuel lines are 5/16.
For a pre filter housing I use the Stanadyne fuel manager (33640 I believe). It works well.
I use a 150 micron (CAT 117-4089) for a Pre filter and 2 micron (CAT 1r-0750) on the post side.
Thinking ahead... I could probably lower my pre so the post doesn't have to do as much work.
