PCV Valve -- What, Where, How Often
Sounds like you have the same situation as we do around here... a couple of major parts store chains and one is always trying to hand you the wrong part. The "bad" one here is O'Reilly and the good is AutoZone. Strange how the same chain can be so different.
Anyway, you finally got the right parts and that is the important thing. Have you been able to tell if the new filter & pcv have made any difference?

PCV Valve -- What, Where, How Often
I changed the air filter, fuel filter, and PCV all at the same time. I think I can feel my truck responding a little better with my foot all the way down, almost as if it used to struggle before and has an easier time now. I need to put a few more miles on before I can say for sure.
