HELP Edge chip problem
So my buddy finally got the money to buy my edge evolution for my late 99 and i pulled the tune unplugged it and he took it and put it on his truck and not a few minutes later it all went to hell. the chip was tuning to extreme and i dont know if he bumped something or what but it wont talk to the pcm. it keeps trying to return to stock then tries to initialize and cant talk to the pcm and wants to return it to stock again. the check engine light is on on the truck with the ignition on and the chip unplugged so i am scared to try and start it. anyone know what happened or what needs to be done?

Not too smart on the aftermarket tuners but I do know that some tuners and chips do not like to be plugged in and un-plugged with the key in the ignition.May have to have the PCM re-flashed....I would see if the truck will start WITHOUT the Edge installed.If the CEL is still on,get someone to read the codes for ya.
