I'm sorry, but a thread to ask if you can use RTV on the rear diff cover chase?

I've seen others use the gaskets on the rear cover, but, not my cup of tea. I dont want any chances of that sucker leaking on me. and gasket screams possible leak.
Use some good RTV and be done with it.

2. Its not a thread about "can I use RTV on the rear diff"... read it again moron. Nice and slow this time... My question was is this TYPE of sealant the proper stuff to use. Do I need to draw it in crayon for you so that maybe you can understand better???
