What can you tell me about these heads? I know I should ve looking for D00E ideally, but these are a good price. Will they be good for a complete rebuild? Looking at building around 375HP/400ft torque.
Hey these are a low compression head. Look for a set of dooe. they are from 69-74 and have a 62 cc chamber. Sad thing is I just gave a set away for free. Could ask shane if he still wants them but I don't know if he doesn't you can have them. Bob
Thanks for the info. I have the block for the rebuild, just need heads. Do not want to pay an arm and a leg that they seem to go for. Especially considering the motor build will be a self funded slow project.
I agree with blie. I have the old windsor heads right now myself. I'm installing 1.94 and 1.6 valves respectively and porting myself. I've seen these heads flow about 215 cfm on Int. and 185 cfm on the ex. That's real good #'s.... These flow figures will get you your mark, but aftermarket heads would get your mark easier with less rpm.
Last time i was at my local machine shop i eye-balled a set of DO0E heads he had laying around. If you are interested i can put you in touch with him and see if he still has them.
Hey There is a set on ebay right now they haven't met the reserve but the bid is only at one dollar right now. there is three days left on the auction. the auction number is #2404888276 Cheers BOB
