300 2bbl adapter?
hey guys i was wondering if any one could help me out. i have a 1983 f100 with a 300 6 and a 4 speed manual trans i just picked up a 2bbl of an 82 fairmont with a 2.3 and i was wondering if any one knew where i could find an adapter plate to go from the 1bbl to the 2bll. from what i can tell its a holley carb. and would it be possibal to buy pass the eletronic choke on the 2bbl or should i try to find a differnt carb? i know alot of people say just buy a new intake but i dont have the money right now for a new intake and the carb was free. i have searched this site and many others with no luck finding an adapter that will work so any help would be greatly aprecaited.

i think you can get adapter for it at oreilly parts store go to there website and enter carb adapter in search it will bring you to them the part number is 2044 and just so you know the aftermarket 2 barrel holley has the same bolt pattern as the motorcraft 2 barrel carb also look alot alike
