Drive Shaft Help Needed Quick

Let me get this straight .... new joints go in, and suddenlty "bang" and shaft is gone but the trans yoke and rear yoke are still there?
Am I reading this right?
Sounds like one let go at front, shaft droppesd, turned sideways a hair and was stopped which popped rear joing in two and shaft goes flying.
What kind of joints were put in?

hey fair warning
i live in clay al about 15 min away from the pull a part in b ham they use forks to pick up the trucks 90% of the drive shafts are bent there so dont waste your time going to look
if not start calling welding shops
i forget where we went but my buddy made one for his 96 f150 for $200 and it weighed about 35 pounds and very very strong

Thanks Mattden1991...that is the info I needed...I went out this morning to try to find my drive shaft...NO LUCK...walked around for almost an hour, and no luck...I have called a few places, waiting to hear back. Hope to find one soon...
Previous post were correct as well. I have all new parts to replace them, plans were to do it this weekend, but looks like now I will get to find me a shaft and replace it all at once...
