On the Driver side fenderwell there is a large canister with one vaccum line that appears to be heading under the truck can anyone tell me what is for? the section of rubber hose looks kind of shottie and i would like to change it. Thanks for any help
will it have any effect on the vaccum system. The small section of rubber line is really dry and I want to replace it just wondering what it could effect.

Go ahead and replace it. Cheap fix. If and when that hose leaks, you'll get a check engine light and you'll pull your hair out trying to figure out what's wrong.
