Met a crusty old Chief in Iraq that did that until injuries forced him into inspecting cargo. He was kind of scary Thank you for all you have done too.
I must say that riding through the perfect storm in Oct 1991 was the single most insane thing that I've ever done! Our tiny 270' cutter faired pretty well considering the beating we took.

x-plan

I saw a post on blue oval forum that if you owned 100 shares of ford stock for 6 months you were eligible for the x plan. I sent ford investor contact the question and the replay was this.

Thank you for your recent email.

As a special thank-you to our shareholders, we offer qualifying shareholders the opportunity to participate in our "Friends & Neighbors" Special Vehicle Pricing Privilege (also known as our "X-Plan").
To qualify for this offer to qualifying shareholders, you must be a current Ford Motor Company shareholder who has held a minimum of one hundred (100) shares of Ford Motor Company stock (Ticker: F) for at least the past 6 months. Qualifying shareholders are limited to one PIN per 12-month period.*
An electronic copy of the application to be submitted is attached. Please return the completed application and appropriate documentation as instructed on the attached application. Once we have established your eligibility to participate in this program, an X-Plan number will be issued for you to take to your dealership. Typical turnaround time for issuance of an X-Plan PIN is 3-5 business days

I bought a 150 last month. I got it under the xplan they showed me the paper there were a couple other plans on there a c plan a d plan and a z plan also one had a really really low price.

They gave me the xplan and 3,500 addition off and I financed through a 3rd party. I saved around 8k.

My employer is covered under the X Plan. Walked into dealership #1 and told them I was on the X Plan. They showed me the price and would not negotiate with me. Went to dealership #2 and did not tell them I was X Plan eligible. I then negotiated a better price than the X Plan.

While that is possible yet rare, the dealers are not required by law or by Ford to honor X-plan pricing.
