I have a 2001 Ford Eddie Bauer Expedition 5.4L 4X2.
My question is... When using the reverse sensor system, is there any way to increase the volume of the tones during the alerts? The only reason I am concerned, is that when 'the lady' (no offense ladies)... is backing up and the music is cranked and she's jamming, its hard to hear the tones at all. I have to make it a point to turn down the radio as she's backing up during this 'new veh. period'. I was wondering if anyone knew how to manipulate the volume of this?
I tried to do the same for my wife who seemed oblivious to the shorter and shorter tones as she backed into the garage door trim. The dealer said the entire "warning system" (low gas, fluid, etc.) are all set at the factory and they were unaware of how to make them louder. (or cause a shock in the driver's seat which is what I really wanted)
If you find out, please post it here - I'd love to save another trip to Home Depot for more trim.
