Which rims will fit

I like the looks of the excursion rims better than the aluminum ones on my truck and I believe the excursion rims are a little wider.

Different bolt pattern, wont fit.

And the Excursion rims aren't wider. If you want anything wider than 7" you have to go to the aftermarket.

BTW you have the old 8 lug pattern that was used by Ford from, I think, the early 60s until the 97 250HD/350s. It is still used by Dodge and GM also but their hubs are a little smaller than ours.

gotcha thanks for the info good thing i didn't buy those rims.

Actually some of the fatcory wheels are 7.5 inches wide.

thought I read that the excursion rims were wider. they came stock with 265/75R16 tires on them

Maybe...

I know the half tons that came with 17s had 7.5" rims. I'm not sure about the 17s and 18s from the larger trucks. But I've never seen a Ford factory 16 any wider than 7". I'd like to find some though. Do know where I can find some or at least know the model.
