I like the looks of the excursion rims better than the aluminum ones on my truck and I believe the excursion rims are a little wider.
And the Excursion rims aren't wider. If you want anything wider than 7" you have to go to the aftermarket.
BTW you have the old 8 lug pattern that was used by Ford from, I think, the early 60s until the 97 250HD/350s. It is still used by Dodge and GM also but their hubs are a little smaller than ours.
Actually some of the fatcory wheels are 7.5 inches wide.

I know the half tons that came with 17s had 7.5" rims. I'm not sure about the 17s and 18s from the larger trucks. But I've never seen a Ford factory 16 any wider than 7". I'd like to find some though. Do know where I can find some or at least know the model.
