Also why not hook slot one bolt on the starter too or key hole one bolt on it, would be really nice. Everytime I jack with a starter it gives me some sort of problem going back with the new one. The last one I changed on my truck came off easy and then when I was going back I started with the top bolt (thinking it would be a pain) and used a philips in the btm hole to align it. Hell it went right in, put a couple of threads in it and would'nt you know it the btm bolt would not align to save my azz. So off with the top bolt and then did the btm and then the top bolt was still easy. Mine just has the 2 bolts some have 3.
I know the the pain of a starter i went with the SD starter it has only two boltsthe old 3 bolt starter to get the top bolt i had to cut a snap-on wrench in half the good thing is the snap on dealer swap it out for me

Did the VP just die like today or was that a while ago? also what happened to the VSS issue you were having with the axle swap?
I pulled in the drive at the house today went out a little later to move my truck and no brakes it did fine all the way home 60 mile trip
On the VSS no one has a clue i'm still working on it it's bugging the hell out of me why one is shorter than the other

no diff then the other we noticed it when we did the rearend swap i wanted to keep my VSS cause it was only a couple months old but the one i had was about 1/4" longer than the F350 SRW that i swap with
