From all the info I've tried to gather it doesn't seem like we'll see anything drastic like new engines until 2013. I hope I'm wrong.

Hey folks!

I'm usually in the SD and other forums but I posted this in the EcoBoost forum and thought it might be of interest to some of you:

Lincoln planning seven new/improved models, includes Navigator EcoBoost

Maybe the EcoBoost will make its way into the Expy.

Anybody wanting the Expedition to remain the same size or become larger whenever the redesign does happen are setting themselves up for disappointment.

The redesigned Durango is smaller

The redesigned Tahoe will be smaller

I'm sure the redesigned Expedition whenever it comes out will be..... you guessed it.

The days of the full sized SUV are coming to an end.

Ford has commented that the redesigned F150's will be smaller. It makes perfect sense that the Expy's will lead or follow that trend.

It would just be nice to have a smaller engine, that has power when needed.
