this kit is very nice and easily done on a saturday, would still be ok with factory size shocks, but dont forget an alignment. could easily clear 33s or stuff 35s
just crank the t-bars with the stock keys up a couple inches and put some taller blocks in the rear. or a 3 inch body lift. these trucks pull off a BL very well.
problem with cranking the t-bars is you cant always do a correct alignment, and your t-bars have a higher stress and can at times lead to busted t-bars. with the keys theres the same stress as factory its just the keys are cut a diff angle to allow for the lift and still get almost the same comfort and alignment. but sure lots of ppl crank t-bars and they last i cant argue that, but i have seen them break too, plus the much stiffer ride
you can crank the stock keys up a couple inches safely and be able to get it aligned. no matter what you use to crank them you're still increasing the preload on the bars which will make it stiffer
