Famous People
Sedona, Az-Mickey Roonwy walked into a souvenir store I was at. I was so tickled, I was a huge Black Stallion movie fan.
My mother was paid to be the animal director (whatever), she had to get horses, etc for the movie. She also played the young farrah in her flashback scene. Of course afterwards, my folks and Farrah had dinner or had a few drinks together. They have pictures of her on the horses, Power Booth hat, etc. My stepfather and uncle were in the movie also.

My husband met Arnold Schwarzenegger on the street in LA once and chatted for a minute. He also saw some country singer who was doing a show in a bar. Hubby liked him and bought him a beer and talked to him. It was Tim McGraw. (Speaking of country, a friend's cousin is Darryl Worley.)
I've never been the kind to hound people on their down time for autographs or whatever, but I've met or seen a few. Mostly WCW (and some WWE) wrestlers, most of the big names. Bill Goldberg and Sting were the nicest. Goldberg gave me tickets to the show when someone told him I didn't buy any, Ric Flair bought my friends and I dinner and drinks, Curt Hennig offered to give me his hotel room (yeah like I fell for that), and I got to sit at the bar and yak with Sting for a while. Not really celebs per se, and nothing to brag about, but it was fun then. More recently, I was invited backstage at a TNA wrestling event and met a lot of their guys. Ken Shamrock was there, but not very cordial. Everyone else was cool.
I have met George Bush when he was running for prez (got on TV for that one), Nuno Bettencourt (guitar player for Extreme), Marty Stuart, Weird Al Yankovich, Rusty Wallace and his family (more than once), Cale Yarbrough, some Penthouse centerfold who hit on me in the bar and took her shirt off in the bathroom to ask if I liked her *attributes*, Roger Miller a couple months before he died, John "Bo Duke" Schneider, and I don't remember who else that might be famous now but wasn't when they were on the club scene in CA.
Brushes: I was in a bar when Clint Eastwood and Kevin Spacey came in. Nick Nolte was filming in my town and came to my high school to kidnap one of the teachers to take him fishing. Barbra Streisand filmed a scene next to a boat I was on. Julia Roberts came to line-dance at my regular bar twice. (She was with Lyle Lovett then, and they were shacked up near my grandparents' house.) I stood in line behind the guy who played Shannen Doherty's dad on 90210 (no, I didn't care). Same day, I saw Keifer Sutherland getting on a motorcycle. I gave directions to the members of Molly Hatchet. My ex-boyfriend helped build sets for Forrest Gump, and some of my family were extras/helpers.
Oh, and if it counts, my brother-in-law is the drummer for a punk band. His old band was known on the US and overseas punk scene and was apparently popular. I wouldn't know, it gives me a headache to listen to.
bruce hart.. 1/2 of bad company was our sub in math one day and signed my binder. my dad saw owen "don't call me nugget" hart at the old market mall. also one of his old girlfriends used to party with brian pillman. one fellow i worked with couldn't stop talking about the time he drywalled bruce's dungeon.
living in quebec i met some porno movie girls when my girlfriend made me take her to the valentine's day trade show. i've seen a few actors while i lived downtown montreal where a lot of films are made but most i wouldn't know their name, just the face you see in movies. i'm always astonished when they look smaller in real life.
i have met lots of seperatists since they like to give speeches at my old college and always go to the same bar afterwards. i have met the premier of quebec... twice... both times at the gym, and not the same gym.
i don't know what gym ralph klein goes to but my mom and i met him at market mall when he was running for mayor and he gave me a balloon. he also came to my school and i remember we were all disappointed he didn't travel in a limousine. a good friend of mine has been cashing ralph's paychecks from the alberta legislature for years.
i made the front page of the Calgary Sun when as a kid we went to watch some parachute guys jumping out of planes. none of them died so the Sun used our picture instead.
my uncle has met one of the few celebrities i would like to meet. he and my aunt were in some bar in the caribbean and willie nelson was there. they didn't even know who he was but after some tourists bugged him for a while he played the piano for them the rest of the night. i wouldn't mind going to the caribbean and watching willie sing in some bar

They filmed quite a bit of the Movie Twister in my home town and you would see the actors running around town. Worked out with and had drinks with Bill Paxton--very nice guy. Met Helen Hunt and can say that she is probably the rudest person I have ever met.
Talked to Michael Irvin in the mens room in Las Vegas and he turned out to be a very nice guy.
