whats up, i just bought a 2006 F-350, 6.0 l. Im new to diesel, pretty ignorant when it gets down to it. so if i can get any advice i really appreciate. 2 questions; first, will factory rims 16 in. from a 99' powerstroke fit over my brake calipers on this newer truck. Second, i want to get a programmer, any recommendations? something for mileage and towing? thanks.
I believe the rims from the 99-2003 has different backspacing however the bolt pattern is the same.
Get some Gauges pyro, tranny temp and boost. for the programmer SCT with some custom tunes. if your gonna want to start getting crazy your gonna need headstuds and EGR blocked off.
Your gonna have to call up one of the vendors. Im not sure how much for tuning plus the programmer normally runs. Innovative diesel is one off hand I can think of who tunes for the 6.0.
