I have an '89 Bronco that I have spent a lot of time and money on getting it where I want it mechanically, but I'm thinking that it's looking a little aged.
I have heard that it's not that big of a project to take the hood, fenders, grill and headlights from a '92-96 F-series and swap them onto an '87-91. Is this true? Has anyone tried it or know of someone who has? Any info would be helpful, Thanks in advance Brian
i forgot what his name was, but there was somebody with a 90 F350 with the 92+ front end, he got a TOTM award for it too.....there was a nicely detailed post about it in the 87-96 truck forum, try searching in there.
from what i understand, its not really that hard to do, just unbolt the fenders and front fasica/grill, bolt up the new ones, and paint to match. make sure you also use 92+ radiator support.
and you also need the peice that goes right in front of the winshield, where the anttena mounts as well as where the wipers go in, the name of the piece escapes me right now, but you need it!
