Relay Question
Is it possible for a relay to be bad, but still work?
Im only asking because im having this problem. My truck could start in the cold ANY day one turn of the key. But now it wont start in 50 or under! And my windows wont go down when i first get into my truck till you hear the glow plugs stop buzzing. It never used to be like that ever.
Perhaps im stupid..
Anyone have any ideas on that? Everyone else i told that to thinks im an idiot!

Glow Plugs shouldn't buzz, firstly. Have you checked your voltage while the GPs are on? Sounds like you might be seeing a weak battery or something. If the voltage is low, it would keep relays from closing properly (and maybe buzz). Could also be poor connection(s) or bad wiring somewhere.

Im with Izzy on this one sounds like a weak battery or voltage issues. These trucks take alot of juice to crank. I know when I had my old worn out batteries in there it would buzz as well like a lack of voltage when cranking. After some testing and replacing batteries all is good. Make sure your terminals are clean and corrosion free.
