valve to piston clearance
Does anyone know of any reputable machine shops in eastern KY to groove some pistons in a 351w? Reason being, I have plans to install a Lunati special purpose mechanical/solid cam w/290/300 adv. duration and .540/554 lift. .

Fly cutting pistons is a very simple task that almost any machine shop can do. (Compared to the other work that is performed like milling heads, aand porting.) There are kits that you can do it yourself, but very time consuming. as for an actual machine shop i can't help you. but fly cutting or notching pistons is simple and as long as you match all of the pistons weight and balance them It will be ok.
