Max hp
What is the max hp you can see naturally aspirated with a .040 302? Based on 1.6 hp per cubic inch (308), I say 450-492. No street manors I'm sure. most of the hp made above 4500 rpm. Is this accurate?

Yes it is possible, Mostlikely it would be at the crankshaft though. Though the amount that you would have to spend to achieve those numbers would be very high. I know. Next motor I build if anything would be a 351w. not much heavier and alot more potential. But my orignal 306 produced 455 @6500 rpm. It was streetable. but to be competitive it had to be in the upper rpm range. and traction on the street is very minimal.
Just a bit of info. you can achieve your same goals with less hp/torque and better suspension.
