I did a search and didn't really find much but i was wondering if any body had ever built a divorced doubler. I currently have a divorced 205 and would like to make it a doubler. i know i would have to find a divorced 203 and i already have a married 205 but wanted to findout if there was anybody else who had any experince doing this.
your biggest issue doing this is going to be space. unless you have a long wheel base (which in and of itself is a disadvantage) you driveshafts may suffer from extreme angles.
what rig are you working on?
may i ask why you wanna do a divorced setup? finances? just wondering so we can help you better
well i have a long bed f350 single cab and like i said it already has a divorced 205 in it and i have great drive shaft angles. i feel like i need more gear reduction than the 5.38 is giving me so i thought a doubler would be good. the jack shaft between the c6 and 205 is 20 inches long so i have the room. I would like to keep the angles like they are thats why i like the idea of a divorced doubler
