fuel tank valve
I have a 1988 f250 with the 7.3 the fuel tank valve went bad. I do not want to spend 250 on a new one I would like to use an aftermarket valve for $50 has anyone converted the plastic fuel line to rubber to allow the use of the aftermarket valve? if so is there a source for a connector to convert the fuel line from plastic to rubber.

For the connection why not just use some fuel line and clamps? Thats what I plan to do to extend mine. There is a write up on here somewhere about using one of those aftermarket FSV's and the wiring that is involved
