1992 egr problem
replaced vacum solonoid can`t get vacum to go to egr have 12 to 15 in going in tosolonoid getting power coming in checked ground all the way to computer could this be computer. that is all i can think of that it could be. forgot it is f-150 with 5.0any help would be appec.

no i am getting vacum to the vac soloniod but can`t get vac. to go to egr it supposeto send vac. to egr when engine is revved up but it won`t send any checked for vac.leaks got power coming to to solonoid checked ground all the way to computer ohmed good don`t know what else eccept computer is bad.

You won't (and should not) get vac to the EGR valve at idle. Kick rpm up to 2500. 12-15 off the Vac tree is too low. Check for Vac leaks & there's something else that escapes me at the moment. Oh, a restricted exhaust (Cat Converter)! Check Vac w/ O2 sensor ahead of the Cat temporarily removed.

thats what i am saying it gets vac. going into solonoid but don`t get any coming out with engine revved to 2500 rpms new solonoid getting power to solonoid checked ground wire from solonoid all the way to computer ohmed good pin 33.
