Another DPF bites the dust
Removed my DPF last night and was wondering what the black canister that is fastened to the fron of the pipe is for, and is it reuired to be on the new install? There are no wires or anything running to it it is just bolted to the pipe.

That can that is just sitting there with no wires or anything is just for vibrations and to absorb some of the sound.

Also to keep that vibration shock from potentially cracking any welds.
