dash panel
my fuel tank switch came off its mounts, and can put it back on but i need to take the plastic panel that surrounds the gauges off to do it. i dont want to just go prying all *****/nilly at a 16 year old plastic panel that is on otherwise excellent condition.
so.... how does it come off?

Items #14 &15 are just snapped on, they will come off prying with a small screw driver, just go easy. There are some small screws under them, they will need to be removed.
Before removing them you'll need to pull your headlight switch ****. Pull the **** out turning on your lights then rotate it looking for a small notch. When you find the notch you will need a small pick/screw driver, now put the pick/screw driver in the notch pulling the tab back towards you to release the ****, then pull towards you. Then **** should slide off with little effort. Don't forget to turn off you lights.
After getting the **** off, remove the screws under the trim you pulled eariler. If you have a tilting steering wheel lower it down and remove the panel. Be sure to disconnect any wiring to the panel if you have any.
If you don't have a tilt wheel you still should be able to work it out. Just go slow.
I hope this helps.
