brand new 2010 expedition need help

I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice. Last week I purchased a 2010 Expedition limited with the 20" rims and the Pirelli str scorpion tires. The truck has 600 miles on it and there is a bad vibration in the sterring wheel at 70-75mph. Took it to the dealer today and after 3 hours of rebalancing road force and remounting tires, perfoming NVH, 4 tire run out, and rotation, I was told to drive it for awhile and see what happens. I was told that there is a high spot on one of the tires that is to Fords max spec , but Ford will not replace the tire until it is driven for several thousand miles.. This sounds ridculous . After spending a great deal of money on this vehicle and spending 3 hours at the dealer today the truck now feels like it is bouncing down the road at any speed. Tires were also cross mounted. Does anyone know if this scenario of waiting a couple of thousands miles before tires will be replaced sounds right. I just got rid of a another expedition lemon for this truck . I could really use the advice.

I never heard of that, but then again Dealers are resourceful critters. Sounds like you may need to take it to a different dealer and get their input.

Tell them after 3 times back, you are lemon lawing it. Keep notes, paperwork, etc. You don't have to wait and the tire won't get better. The tires are bad and these expies are sensitive to out of round/bad tires.

I would remind them of the Firestone problems. I would hate for this documented problem to lead to loss of life.
Please put your recommendation in writing.
