Vibration
Has anyone who has had the vibration issues with these trucks been able to fix the problem? I was told by the dealer today that Ford engineers told them there is not a fix yet for these vibrations issues. I had the tires balance and road force balanced several times now and even had the tires replaced with Michelin MS2's. I had Pirelli's. I seems to be coming from the rear of the truck. I can see my tailgate bounce as well as feel it in the floor board. Thoughts

There could be a few thinks causing the vibration you describe. The emergency brake could be stuck partially engaged, thus warping or causing run out problems with the rear rotors. It could be a drive shaft issue. It could be a bearing problem. It could also be a problem in the tranny. I would especially be concerned that the dealership isn't tackling the the problem without specific written guidelines from Ford. That would lead me to question the competence of their techs and their integrity as a dealership. It's not that difficult to check out the things in the driveline/braking system. If that not the problem, then they can be ruled out and maybe you will have to wait for a solution from Ford. But that song and dance about Ford engineers not issuing a fix is a copout in my eyes. I question anyone who passes the buck.

Bad Vibes
Check out this post, in particular the issue of the drive shaft specs, and the possibility of the carrier bearing as well.
