i was wondering how much HP and TORK, (i cant spell) a stock 390 put out,
and maybe and estimated guess of what it would be with a set of headders and ab 750 edelbrock carb, (still using the stock intake, financial dificulties at the time of re build)
Exhaust is always a great place to start a performance mod. The best!! Howerver, that 750cfm on a stock intake will drown your engine. It has to be able to breathe more air as well as more fuel to get the mixture right. Would be a shame to do such a thing.
Buy the parts if you are concerned about not having the money later and you honestly think you can afford it. Then put them on the shelf and get your intake at your next available cash. You will then have something that was designed to work.
