How long after placing your order will your dealer have your Vin#? F-250 ordered and confirmed week of 9/6.

Thanks for asking New2Fifty, I have similar questions.
Order placed Sept. 11th, salesman said he would
call me with any info but said I should call him in case he forgets to call me.
Is there any system to track the progress of the vehicle? I knew a guy who ordered a Vette and when it was
shipped, he went to meet the train it came in on. I'll just
wait here at home...

What type of F-250 did you order?

I ordered a Lariat super crew cab, pretty much loaded, gas, moon roof, nav, 3:73, short bed, chrome pkge,trlr pkge, clearance lights, upfitter switches. Couldn't justify the cost of the powerstroke.
