We are signed up for the 8 AM session as well.
Carol works in Fontana, so I will ask her about places suitable for breakfast, and will let you know. Sounds like a good idea to me.
I know there is a Farmer Boys out there, and they do breakfast. But there might be a better place with table service too.
BTW, I am reasonably certain this event will be in the parking lot. Not on the track.

There was an event similar to this years ago at the Ontario Motor Speedway.
The track was used, and Ford didn't govern the speed limit, the track officials pulled off after one lap.
It was madness, with vehicles speeding around the track, many driven by people with next to no clue.
How fast can one go in a parking lot? The parking lot won't be of much help...unless you wanna sit there and rev up the engine.
Why bother even having the event at the speedway if one cannot drive on it? Heck, they coulda staged the event at the Pomona fair grounds.

It's a big parking lot.
I could be wrong. Is Fontana an oval track, or a road course track? Obviously I don't follow racing events, at all. If it is a road track then I can see them using it. But no way on a banked oval.
Edit: I guess it is both - http://www.autoclubspeedway.com/Trac...rack-Maps.aspx

The parking lot at the Pomona Fairgrounds-east of White Avenue is where the swap meet and car show is held. It has to be one of the largest parking lots on the planet.
You could park every Stupor Duty in LA LA Land on it and still have enough room for every conFusion. Toss in all the Smart's to fill in the voids.

That's where they have the RV shows each spring and fall. They have the show in the lot, and still have all the parking in the same lot. They have a bunch of other shows on the lot too.

That looks like a great place. It is a little closer to the speedway as well.
