2011 F150 Test Drives 13 Nov @ Auto Club Speedway
Did you see this in the announcement at the top of the chapter forum page?
Ford Drive F-150 I just signed up and got a confirmation...there were 40 spots left. If you'd like to do this, jump on it! |
Cool! All signed up. Thanks Steve.

Me too.. Thanks Steve.. :-X22
You think they'll mind if we all race 3 wide? |
I'm taking Carol along. I hope I don't come away sorry.
|
Very informative, thanks Steve, I'll be there.
I've been pestering the local dealer, asking about new engines for F150's. I will buy one...when and if Ford offers a more powerful V8. But, the dealer won't say anything, prolly...because it could effect sales of the current lineup which still offer the anemic 5.4L. I bought a new Lariat in 2004, soon discovered that the 5.4L couldn't pull "a sick trollop off a porcelain device." |

I am to afraid to go I might want one and the wife would not be happy.
|
You know you want one Keith...yours is almost 2 whole years old :D
Why don't you just show up and let us all test drive your '09 too? That way, maybe one of us will buy it and you'll be in the clear to get a new one }> PS...please don't let your wife read this.:-fire |
It just turned 4000 miles so it is not even broken in yet.
|
The site still shows 24 open spots
|
Would be fun, but I gotta' let this one pass.....

I'm definitly not buying, no matter how much SWMBO may beg, but I am very interested in the 6.2 experience. Also interested in the Ecoboost, but not in a truck.
It should be fun, if nothing else. |

If all the SoCal chapter members are going on the same day, this could be a chapter GTG, which might fill up all the available spots. btw: The dealers are also involved in this. The internet manager at Wondries Ford said they would also be attending on the 13th. btw, part II. According to this month's Car & Drivel magazine, the 6.2L is a $3,000.00 (!) option for the Raptor (which they road tested). How much for the other F150's? |
